Dublin, 18th April 2012 – PRESS RELEASE

On April 10th, 2012 Justsplit.com opened a new travel shop in Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre, Dublin 24. Justsplit.com now offers wide range of travel and holiday services in a total of four shops located in Rathfarnham (D14), Ballyfermot (D10), Kilnamanagh (D24) and Limerick.

‘We believe that by opening this new travel shop we can help even more holiday makers plan and arrange their perfect getaways’, says Jim Vaughan, MD Justsplit.com. ‘Opening a new shop is always a great challenge and I’d like to thank everyone who helped to make this happen’, he adds.

‘These days most of the big tour operators and well established travel agents tend to save costs by closing some of their branches. I -on the other hand- believe that it is through the bricks and mortar shops that the travel industry can deliver a good value quality product with a level of customer service that cannot be matched by any on-line holiday portal’, explains Mr Vaughan.

Justsplit.com is a fully bonded travel company established in 2005 by Jim Vaughan, who recently completed a 2 year term as President of the Irish Travel Agents Association. Justsplit.com offers a variety of travel and holiday services, including flights, sun holidays, cruise holidays, city breaks, honeymoons and long haul holidays to Australia and New Zealand in our four travel shops based in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre in Dublin 14, 37 Roches Street in Limerick, 286A Ballyfermot Road in Dublin 10 and Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre in Dublin 24. Justsplit.com also concentrates in developing niche products to less familiar regions of Europe.

Dublin, 20th July 2010 – PRESS RELEASE

Speaking at the Alentejo Wine Festival launch Jim Vaughan, MD of JustSplit.com said that ‘today we are not only introducing great Portuguese wines to the Irish, we are also introducing a great new destination to Irish holidaymakers’.

Alentejo is undoubtedly one of Portugal’s treasures. It’s Portugal’s premier wine growing region, its people are friendly and welcoming, its landscapes are full of history and culture and colour, Évora, its Capital city is a World Heritage City, and the region is just waiting to be discovered by the Irish.

No matter what time of the year you visit, this region exudes character. Its an area unspoilt by modern development, an area where the pace of life is easy and where people go about their daily lives in tandem with their natural environment.

This is reflected in the gastronomy of the region which relies on local produce combined with a great culinary tradition to bring out the best flavours accompanied by the region’s famous wines.

Irish travel company JustSplit.com has created a number of holiday and short break packages to the region.

Package prices start at €289 per person plus flight for a 3-night stay in Évora on a Bed & Breakfast basis including transfers. A 4-star version of this package that also includes a guided tour of the World Heritage city is available at €449 per person plus flight.

A 7-night holiday in ‘Rural Alentejo’ is priced at €549 per person plus flight. This package includes 7 nights pre-booked accommodation on a B & B basis and car-hire for the duration. This is a great way for visitors to explore the region.

A 7-night package entitled ‘Alentejo Castles’ will give visitors a chance to stay in ‘pousades’ which are small luxury hotels located throughout the region. This is a great value package priced at €795 per person plus flight. To get a really great taste of the region, this package is also available on a dinner bed & breakfast basis.

Finally the first Alentejo Wine Tour is scheduled to go from Dublin in October. This is a fully escorted tour guided by our wine expert, Maria Madigan. Those interested should call JustSplit.com for details.

JustSplit.com is a full service Leisure Travel Agency employing 10 people established 6 years ago by Jim Vaughan. As well as operating on-line, it has two offices based in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre Dublin and 37 Roches Street in Limerick. The business has continued to grow through the recession. As well as offering the full range of package holiday options, it specialises in travel to New Zealand and Australia and also concentrates in developing niche products to less familiar regions in Europe. Jim Vaughan has recently completed a 2 year term as President of the Irish Travel Agents Association.
